Knotweed

Some people are weeding in a garden. Person A: What's this? Person B: Knotweed. Person A: So what is it, then? Person B: It's knotweed. Person A: So I leave it? Person B: No, it's knotweed! Person A: If it's not weed, what is it?!? Person B: Knotweed!!! Person C: Shouldn't we, you know, intervene? Person D: Please, no. This is getting good.

 Who's weeding the field?  Exactly.
